Another week begins and while we may be wiping sleepy dust out of our eyes and swigging our fourth coffee of the day, it's always nice to remember what crops up on Monday - the sales list.

Big sales, small sales, some as big as your head - wait, that's coconuts. Either way, we know you're going to be cocoNUTS about this selection (that's right, I went there).

There are some pretty big names flitting about, a huge sale on particular point and click adventures, a curious price drop only weeks after launch, and more. Just keep on reading.

1
8bitWars: Apokalyps

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: F2P

It feels like either Apokalyps or Necropolis are always on offer here and there, but we're not complaining.

There are 180 levels to sink into in this strategic battler. Line 'em up, place them in the best places, and pray to god you've thought things out properly to deflect the oncoming enemy attack.

2
Big Fish Games sale

  • Platform: iOS (also on Android)
  • Price: £2.99/$2.99 a piece

If you're into point and click mystery games, Big Fish Games is a huge name in that particular area, and if you're in the market for something new to play today's your lucky day.

There's a massive number of BFG's titles on sale, so it's quite a difference. Check out the titles below to see if any grab your eye. I have a feeling they won't be going cheap for long.

I'm sure a few more might appear, but for now that's a pretty hefty selection.

3
Braveland Pirate

  • Platform: iOS/Android
  • Price: 99p/99c or cheaper

It may be the conclusion of the Braveland trilogy, but that doesn't mean it's out of ideas. Get your game-face on and come up with your best strategy on your way to find the ultimate treasure.

Travel between islands, fight enemies on the open sea, make use of a few pirate-y tricks to get the upper hand in combat, and much more. You can even go bounty hunting, just for funsies.

4
Evergarden

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £4.99/$4.99

Originally £5.99/$5.99 on launch, this is an interesting move on Flippfly's end. Whether it's purposeful or potentially permanent remains to be seen.

Evergarden is a hex-based puzzler with challenging gameplay, beautiful environments, and a lot more to offer in your time with it.

We liked it enough to give it a Gold Award in its review, saying: "As you figure out what you're supposed to be doing, and learn new and interesting ways to do things, you feel like a stranger in a world that was built just for you. And that feeling is worth cherishing and chasing."

5
King of Dragon Pass

  • Platform: iOS (also on Android)
  • Price: £6.99/$6.99

Do you love resource management games? Do you love interactive stories? Well, you might want to check this one out then.

A little bit of a mixed bag, King of Dragon Pass is set in Glorantha and boasts easy-to-jump-into short chapters which tells the story based on how you're playing.

We gave it a Silver Award in its review, saying: "A wholly unique adventure that has no equal on the iPhone, King of Dragon Pass makes up for in depth what it lacks in accessibility." It may be seven years old, but there's still a lot of fight left in it.

6
Templar Battleforce Elite

  • Platform: iOS/Android
  • Price: £4.99/$4.99 or cheaper

As a mix of army building and strategy combat, TBE has you stepping into a mega mechanical Leviathan mech as you lead your knights to war.

Sink into turn-based tactical combat on over 55 scenarios and face every fight with the correct squad. You've got over 25 enemy units to deal with, a whole host of methods to secure victory, and a fair few challenges to overcome in each battle.

We gave it a Gold Award in its review, saying: "Templar Battleforce still wants to be Space Hulk. But it's a good job it isn't. Because Templar Battleforce is a force onto itself, and it's better than its inspiration."

THUMPER: Pocket Edition

  • Platform: iOS
  • Price: £2.99/$2.99

If you know anything about Thumper, you kind-of know what you're getting yourself into. At the very least, this isn't the type of game for the faint of heart or those who lack patience.

As a space beetle, you've got to confront a giant head by handling speed, action, and some sick rhythmic beats. You can also play through the nine levels with one hand, so that's great for multitasking.

We gave it a Bronze Award in its review. "Is it a good game? Yes. Is it a game that's going to slice the people who play it down the middle like, well, like a space beetle slicing through a bizarre interpretation of a hyperdrive trip infused with psychedelia? Yes."

Improve pastures, trade with neighbours, deal with crises, and more as you work through this detailed and rich RPG.
