Danger Mouse: The Danger Games is headed to Nintendo Switch on September 13th

Gosh, it's been a hot second since we last heard any news regarding 9th Impact's Danger Mouse: The Danger Games, but today we got a big ol' update. It'll be launching on Nintendo Switch on September 13th for £4.49/$4.99.

You may have seen or even played The Danger Games on mobile at some point after its launch in 2017, but back in January we learnt the competitive racing mobile game was headed to the Switch. What makes this move notable is that it's another F2P mobile game making the switch (ahem) and slapping on a price-tag.

Of course, it's not a hideous price and gives us a couple of interesting things in its Switch version. As well as offering local co-op for up to four players and single-player offline play, it's one of the first Switch games to support cross-platform play with mobile devices.

I'm a bit torn with how I think about it overall. If there's enough to justify paying a premium price for the game, so be it - it's a decent game which offers up family-friendly content. However, I'd hope that the Switch version performs well, especially when playing against mobile phone users.
