PUBG Mobile received a hefty update today, bringing with it new achievements, a fresh gameplay mode, and some exciting new social updates. The update is available right now for both iOS and Android versions of the game.

The biggest change people are pumped up about is the all new War Mode, a “Faster-paced” twist on the classic Arcade Mode. The new mode lets player to respawn, allowing you to join in on the fun for the duration of the match, no matter how many times you die. Players earn points by knocking down or eliminating opponents or for reviving comrades.

Players can finally join or create Clans, better enabling you to connect with friends or make new ones. Your clan will earn rewards based on your performance in battles, much like other online multiplayer games.

If you’d rather compete against yourself, Tencent has added a bunch of new achievements for you to work towards, many of which are long-term goals that will take some work to get. Players who complete these difficult objectives will be rewarded handsomely with titles and outfits.

A few quality of life implements round out the update. You’ll now be able to switch to first-person in custom rooms, foregrip parameters have been fixed, and the team is throwing a new SLR Sniper Rifle into the mix.
