Grim Fandango Remastered is headed to Nintendo Switch in the coming months, according to an announcement from Double Fine at E3 this week. The classic point-and-click adventure is being re-released on the Switch to celebrate developer Double Fine’s 20th anniversary.
One of Double Fine’s most popular games, Grim Fandango tells the story of travel agent Manny Calvera, a travel agent guiding people onwards to the afterlife. The game stands out for its interesting mix of film noir and Mexican folklore. The game has since seen various re-releases over the years, including versions for iOS.
Grim Fandango isn’t making it’s Switch debut all on its lonesome, though. Double Fine is also releasing their more recent contribution to the classic genre, Broken Age, on Switch at the same time. The two-part adventure drew a good bit of attention when it launched earlier this decade.
