A little while back, Square Enix brought the fantastic adventure game, Life is Strange, to iOS. Now it's Android's turn to get a little love as its pre-registration page went live today.

Life is Strange is an episodic story-based game with five chapters. In it you play as Max Caulfield, a young woman in the throws of a somewhat normal college experience. Photography classes, boys, parties, and - oh - the ability to rewind time.

After reuniting with her best friend, Chloe Price, the two soon find themselves neck-deep in a deadly mystery that not only affects them, but the whole of Arcadia Bay.

I played through the game when it released on Steam and, while it had a couple of pitfalls, absolutely loved it. The choices you make affect how it all progresses, the story is deliciously twisty, and the characters are well-rounded and interesting enough to care about what happens to them. Always a plus.

Available with all five episodes at launch, Life is Strange heads to Google Play in July. We're not yet sure whether you'll pay for it all or get a taster free like with its iOS version, but we'll keep you updated.
