King's Call of Duty mobile game is still on the way and it's probably going to be a first-person shooter
Match three for a headshot
Whether you're down for the combination or not, King's Call of Duty mobile game is on the way. From the sounds of things we're not looking at another match-something puzzler, though. Instead, we may get something more predictable.
It's not the first time we've heard about King's upcoming Call of Duty mobile game, but since the publisher's on the lookout for a Level Designer it's nice to see they're pushing forward with it.
Though we still weren't sure what form the game would take, a few requirements in the job description point out that we're likely getting an FPS of some sort.
Given the recent successes with Fortnite, Shadowgun Legends, and PUBG Mobile it makes perfect sense for King to be going down this road, even if it's most prominently known for making match-three puzzlers.
"The aim is to create a Call of Duty experience on mobile, while also breaking new ground for mobile and redefining the genre. The approach and ambition is to be fresh, social, and highly accessible, while providing a very authentic game experience."
There were also two other jobs on the board for Senior Tools Designer and Senior Network Engineer.
