There are plenty of card games on mobile, but what if you're looking for a game that you can play on your own? Multiplayer is fun, make no mistake, but sometimes you want to pit yourself against a computer opponent rather than a real one.

Which is where this list comes in. We've rounded up the best solo card games you can get for mobile right now. It was a hard choice deciding what should end up on the list, so if you think we've missed something out, let us know in the comments at the bottom of the article.

A giant meteor is about to smash into the earth, and it's up to you to stop it. To stop it you need to build up a deck of cards and battle against a whole bunch of monsters. Because of course you do.

It was difficult to decide which of the Tiny Touch Tales games to put on this list, but this one is the most unique of the trilogy. Still, you should definitely play Card Crawl and Miracle Merchant as well. Card Thief adds stealth to the mix, and makes it pretty darn intriguing.

At review we called it "a fun card game which certainly satiates our hunger for strategy." It got a Silver Award as well, which is pretty darn swanky.

Essentially a game within a game. Card City Nights 2 is a smart mixture of strategy and deck-building that sees you working your way through a space station trying to beat everyone at their own game. That game is all about positioning, knowing your cards, and out-thinking your opponent.

At review we described it as "a game that rewards you the deeper you dig into it." Adding that "it's fun to pick up and play, but to get the most out of it you're going to have to push a bit further, and try a little harder." It got a Silver Award too. Bosh.
