Razer teams up with Dragon Project to create powerful new gear

If you’re an experienced Dragon Project hunter, you’ll probably have a favourite equipment set – one that sets you apart, screams “I slay monsters for a living”, would be utterly impractical in real life but who cares because it looks awesome.

Then Razer came in like a wrecking ball. Teaming up with developer goGame, the hardware company now has its own, exclusive Dragon Project equipment for you to covet – and it packs a punch. The whole Razer-emblazoned set includes a Dual Blade, Great Sword, Helmet, Arm Guard, Leggings and Body Armour. In keeping with the company’s tech credentials, everything has a sci-fi aesthetic, with metallic segments and lashings of cyber-punk green. The full set offers total immunity to poison, plus up to 180% damage on Earth elements and up to 72% additional Heat Gauge speed.

The Razer Great Sword and Dual Blade boast their own special attacks. The Great Sword’s Pulverise Combo can occur twice after a recharge cleave – press and hold for a cleave, then tap afterwards to pulverise your enemy. The Razer Dual Blade’s special move is OverDrive, which increases damage, movement speed and dodge distance in one.

As an incentive to spend some of that hard-earned zGold (Razer’s digital currency), splash US$9 through your zVault account and the whole set will drop into your lap. With super stats and looking like a space-age assassin, you’ll be ready to take on any behemoth that fancies its chances. But be quick – the equipment is only up for grabs until 31 May. If you’re not already registered to Razer, don’t fret – it only takes a moment.

What's more, players that purchase items using zGold between May 11th and May 31st will also receive a special bonus gems package, which offers a 72% discount over regular gem packages.

Upgrade your Dragon Project gear to a full set of Razer equipment this month only. Download Dragon Project for free from Google Play or the App Store to join the monster-hunting antics.
