Nintendo is on the lookout for imaginative uses for the Nintendo Switch

Nintendo wants to get creative with the Nintendo Switch. In a recent report from Bloomberg, it looks like the company is partnering up with Scrum Ventures to look out for startups and researchers who are working on new technology for the Nintendo Switch.
Scrum Ventures is running the program, and will seek out promising startup projects, with an emphasis on new tools and add-ons for the system. Both Nintendo and Scrum Ventures will help the selected teams bring their products to fruition, placing them on the market as Nintendo sanctioned accessories and tools.
This is a surprising turn for Nintendo, who generally likes to keep its hardware and software close to its chest. Perhaps all of that Nintendo Labo excitement has the company looking towards the horizon. It will be exciting to see what fresh ideas come out of this new initiative.
