A smashing good time
It wasn't all about Smash and Splatoon 2 yesterday we also got some good announcements regarding third parties and indie games:
Kirby Star Allies Switch is coming next week to Nintendo Switch and the game will get Dream Friends from older games at launch and even more with free updates:
Okami HD is coming to Nintendo Switch. This classic and celebrated game will even let you paint with touch or motion controls, coming later this summer:
Sushi Strike: Way of Sushido is a conveyor-belt puzzler/action game that needs you to be quick with your chopsticks:
Octopath Traveller is defnitely called just that and coming July 13th to Switch:
No More Heroes, Travis Strikes Again! seems like a collection of minigames with that usual Suda touch, complete with coop multiplayer and it's coming later this year:
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker was one of the best Wii U games and it's great to see it ported to Nintendo Switch as well as 3DS:
Undertale, the massive indie success that turns RPGs on their heads is coming to Nintendo Switch thanks to GameMaker finally being available:
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy marks the first time that Crash Bandicoot is playable on a Nintendo System. It'll feature the first three games in the series and it's coming July 10th:
Little Nightmares is an indie gem that's quite scary as well as inventive with a little touch of "La Cité des Enfants Perdus", it's coming May 18th:
South Park: The Fractured But Whole is coming to Nintendo Switch and this should be a great RPG with plenty of humor for fans of the series, coming April 24th:
Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition, the port of the Wii U Musou is finally dated and it's coming May 18th:
ARMS is getting a tournament soon but it's only open in the US and Canada. You'll also be able to download a free temporary demo on March 31st.
The Taiko Drum series is also coming to Japan complete with motion controls:
