Took its sweet time
The Blockheads was always a cool, unique survival/crafting game that rewarded creativity, exploration and most of all, cooperation with other players. It got a number of updates since its launch but it dwindled down in the middle of last year.
Indeed, update 1.7 was announced around April of last year but was so content rich that it needed almost a year for its developer to be ready. As revealed on the blog, 1.7 is finally set to go live on March 15th and will feature a brand new free HD texture pack, an expert mode for those really looking for a challenge, pets, ovens, animal breeding and the coolest feature of all: shark riding.
Arguably, that's the best pet you could ever wish for.
