WarGames, the latest project from the creator of Her Story, is coming March 14th to iOS

Sam Barlow, the creator of the magnificent Her Story, took the indie gaming world by storm with its unique take on what a game was. Using only a series of videos and a search engine that worked with keywords, you needed to solve a mystery that ran far deeper than you were originally told.

It seems that its next project is a bit the opposite. WarGames is a reboot of a 1983 movie about hacking and this time Barlow's creation is a show (still about hacking) that is imbued with interactivity. Viewers will follow different point of views by switching between video feeds and make choices along the way. This should, in turn, shape how the story reacts.

Everything is still rather foggy on how the "game" part of the show works or how it will be distributed but you should be able to view Episode 1 on March 14th via the Eko app or through their website.

I'm really excited to see what Barlow can do given this kind of budget and freedom and I'll be sure to take a look when it launches.
