Lichtspeer cheats and tips - Essential tips for high scores
|
| Lichtspeer

We love to spear our enemies, which is exactly why we’ve been loving Lichtspeer. We’ve been practising our shots and powering up our abilities and we’re ready to give you a few tips on how to play.

It’s easy to pick up, but difficult to master. I’m sure you’ll smash through levels with your own ingenuity, but for truly big scores? We’re here to help.

So read on for everything you’ll need to know to get the biggest scores and survive to the end in Lichtspeer.

The perfect arc

The first thing you’ll have to master in Lichtspeer is the perfect arc. All of your shots will arc downwards, and you’ll have to factor in the speed and size of your enemies in addition to how much your spear will drop at a distance.

It might be awkward to get used to at first, but you’re sure to adjust quickly, and you’ll soon be able to accurately judge how high you’ll have to aim to cover distance and get important headshots.

The arc only really becomes difficult to judge when aiming at enemies higher up, either flying in or hiding on a higher level. You’ll need to practice in order to become accurate with these more difficult to judge angles.

Artifacts of achievement

As you clear levels you’ll earn artifacts which give you extra points based on what you’ve done during the level, these parameters aren’t entirely clear, but basically are activated when you achieve special shots.

Longshots, for example, will result in the Farspeer artifact, as long as you achieve enough longshots in a single game.

The same applies to other special types of shots, like the Near Death Experience shot for letting an enemy come way too close.

The power to go beyond

There’s a selection of power ups in the game which give your spears different abilities. There’s three types of power ups you can equip, Attack, Uber and Defence. You can equip one of each.

The attack abilities are activated by tapping the screen with two fingers, and give you a variety of abilities, including splitting the spear into multiple, or even a heavy hammer able to smash through multiple enemies.

Find abilities you like and then upgrade them for more power, you’ll be able to use them to smash through the foes ahead, and certain enemies - like those with shields - are easier to deal with using a power like the hammer.

Pesky penguins

The penguin enemies will often take a perch on higher areas of the stage, lurking out of the way of the other enemies.

The penguins pose a real threat if not dealt with. They might look innocent at first, but they’ll quickly put you in an early grave, meaning you should take care of them as quickly as possible.

As mentioned earlier, angling your shots upwards increases how much your shots drop, which you’ll need to factor in when aiming at these enemies that hide in high places.

Headshot multipliers

One of the most important factors in scoring points is headshot multipliers. In fact, it might be the most important factor.

You can get extra points for headshots sure, but your first headshot will give you 10% extra points on your shots. Your next headshot will elevate that to 20%, and so on until it maxes out at 100% - that’s double points.

Take note though, missing a shot will remove your multiplier entirely, and shots at shields will take your multiplier away too - you’ll need to be very accurate to get the best scores!
