Yes, though Alto's Odyssey was due out on iOS tomorrow it looks like the sand-boarding endless runner has arrived with time to spare on the App Store for £4.99/$4.99.

Just last week we learnt that this next installment in the Alto franchise was touching down and, hey, we got pretty excited. It's been over a year since we first caught wind of the game and it wasn't until last summer that finally got a look at some of the game's footage at E3.

After a bit of a delay to get things all squeaky, you can finally get boarding in the burning, beautiful desert sands and explore a number of different biomes as you go.

Of course, with anything so eagerly awaited there's always a fear that it'll disappoint - I'd highly doubt this'll be the case here though. Snowman has spent the last year crafting and fine-combing the game, making it as striking and fluid as possible.

Given the popularity of Alto's Adventure, I'd say we're in for another excellent addition to the series, but we'll have to wait for its review.
