Alright, we know you've been waiting for it on the tips of your toesies but we've got good news and bad news for you. The good news is PUBG's out on iOS early access in China. The bad news is there's still no plan to bring it to the west.
In November when the news first cropped up, we had a chit-chat about whether we thought the game could work on mobile and there were certainly interesting points to make. PUBG is hugely popular in China as is and around 75 million fans pre-registered for the game.
Both versions of the game currently sit higher than four stars with thousands of ratings (and have flown to the top of the iOS downloads chart), so it'll be interesting to see how it's received in a few weeks and what capacity its servers can take.
Our own Harry Slater chats about why having PUBG on mobile is a bad idea over on our sister site, AppSpy, so take a look at that for some strong opinions. Or, if you're feeling melancholy about not being able to play it on mobile at the moment here's a fantastic list of alternatives to keep those shooty cravings satiated.
