We know that in order to go into battle you’re going to need the strongest team possible, that’s why we’ve amassed a bunch of advice in order to get you ready to take on the strongest enemies Opera Omnia has to offer.

Crystal Strength

The key to surviving any RPG world is having strong friends by your side, and with Crystal Strength, your friends are going to be stronger than ever.

In the Enhancements menu you can use Crystal Strength to upgrade your party. From quests you’ll earn the specific crystals you’ll need for party members, and you can use those to get more DEF, ATK, HP, BRV and more.

The first couple of upgrades on each character will only require two crystals each, while after that it raises to five, and eventually all the way up to 100. Upgrading your characters that far will require determination.

Enhance weapons and armor

Why stop at just enhancing your character’s stats, when you can also enhance the stats of their gear? Any JRPG fan will already know how important gear can be, and in Opera Omnia it’s no different.

You can combine weapons to upgrade their weapon level, enhancing the stats and allowing for new abilities. Upgrading rare weapons with similar rare weapons can result in a weapon Limit Break, far pushing the boundaries on how strong it was before.

Armor can also be enhanced in the same way, with similar effects. If you’re taking too much damage, this is the first place to go.

Summoning the best

If you’re going to take your time to summon a deity you should summon the best of the best, right? Right! No time for half measures, if you need a God on your side it should be the best one.

You can pick your favourite Summon from the Bind menu and use materials to be granted access to it, and then through the Enhance menu you can use limited materials to upgrade your summons, making them more effective in battle.

The materials required to Enhance your summons are quite rare though, so think twice about which summons you want to enhance.

Support items

Why not speed up the process of getting more powerful or earning more cash through support items? They might help you more than you think.

Purchasable with gems, you can buy items that will allow you 30 minutes of extra items from quests, or twice the amount of gil, or twice the amount of EXP, or all three in one.

Depending on what you’re working towards, any of these can be a helpful boost to what can otherwise be a fairly arduous task.

The ol’ grindstone

Of course, the whole game will be difficult if you don’t have a beefy party to fight through the trials with, and that’s exactly what grinding is all about.

Support items from above can speed up this process, but the best way to get weaker party members up to speed is to take them back to older stages.

Should you need to have a certain character at a certain level to progress, for example, put them in a team with two strong party members, then put them against an older boss.

It’s also a good idea to make a team of your weaker characters and simply play through older battles to earn the rewards and level up - for more rewards you can visit older chapters in Hard mode.
