If you remember last year we first caught wind of the upcoming game, The Legend of Bum-Bo, and it was supposed to be launching around December. Clearly, that didn't happen, but we've just got a little snippet of news telling us we shouldn't have too much longer to wait.

The Legend of Bum-Bo is somewhat a sequel to The Binding of Isaac, though its art style and content is a little different. This upcoming title uses a puzzle board and plays on the familiar match-something puzzle formula. You'll be able to perform basic attacks, defend/heal, and gain mana to cast spells (100 of them so far), which you can read about in more detail here.

Edmund McMillen, creator of TBoI, Super Meat Boy, and The End is Nigh, Tweeted out a micro-update earlier this week, saying that we should get the game sometime before Q3 of 2018 and could get a trailer as early as February.

The Legend of Bum-Bo will be coming out on iOS and likely on the Nintendo Switch as well. We'll keep you updated.
