Nine Parchments demo unleashes cooperative magical action on the Switch eShop

Ahead of its December 5th release, Frozenbyte's upcoming Nine Parchments has received an extensive demo on Nintendo Switch, letting you get a taste of its co-op action and arsenal of spells.

The demo lets you play alongside friends through the game's tutorial, across a beachside gauntlet, and finally facing the Treasure Mantis boss.
In the full game, Nine Parchments lets you battle monsters and looming bosses with the power of the elements and other spells, turning the screen into a spectacle of color as you and friends fire rays of ice, cascading arcs of flame, and other magical attacks. Survive Nine Parchments' stages and you'll be able to upgrade and customize your character with different spells, staves, and other loot.

However, much like Magicka, friendly fire is in effect here, so be careful where you aim your magic.

You can download the demo on the eShop; Nine Parchments is slated to release on Switch next week, and come to Steam later.
