Here's an interesting story for you. HAL Laboratory, creator of Kirby, Super Smash Bros, has just launched a mobile game in Japan called Working UFO.

*As I don't speak Japanese I've had to take a look at the game through a translator, so forgive me if things are a little off.*

Working UFO is an interesting-looking arcade stacking game where you control a claw/crane-like being and get to work helping out in a variety of areas. Between moving luggage for farms, spotting cheerleaders, building delicious sweets, and more, do a good job and the workers you meet will be pleased with you.

It looks like a major part of the game will be in buying different 'Okiee' with the money earned working. According to the description, Okiee affects both your appearance and your performance, and there should be plenty to choose from.

Check out the game on the App Store here. It's only available in Japan at the moment and will cost you ¥480 (about £3/$4).
