Popular car soccer game Rocket League accelerates onto Nintendo Switch next month
Rocket-powered goals
Switch owners won't have to wait much longer: Rocket League is finally coming to the platform on November 14th, all current content and modes included.
If you're not familiar with Rocket League, it's simple: rocket cars meets soccer. Through teamwork, gravity-defying aerial acrobatics, and last-second goals, you and your team needs to pass and hit the ball into your opponent's goal. That's Rocket League in a nutshell; the skills to pull off those slick saves and fly across the field aren't included though.
Variations on the core gameplay ranges from special arenas with unique power-ups to a basketball match that replaces goals with hoops to dunk the ball; the Switch version will come with wireless local multiplayer, exclusive cars themed after Mario, Luigi, and Samus, and cross-play with Steam and Xbox.
Rocket League will be available on the Switch for £19.99/$19.99.
