Here's an interesting one for you: the founders of Vine decided to bring out a live trivia game called HQ and you can win real money with it too.

As pointed out by TechCrunch last week, it's a bit like Facebook Live meets Who Wants to be a Millionaire where you take part against a huge number of other players and try to win big. Prizes ranging from tens/hundreds of dollars to tonight's whopping $1,250 are up for grabs, but it's not a gambling app.

At the allotted time each day you can pull up the app on your iPhone/iPad, wait for the competition to begin, and try to answer each multiple choice question within 10 seconds to progress to the next round. The game starts off with super simple questions before venturing into harder ones, really whittling out the competition.

Those that do have a mind of steel will either take home their winnings, or split the grand prize with other winners, via PayPal. Though the app is still young there's a lot of praise and promise surrounding it as an exciting, fast-paced, and interactive experience.

If you have an appropriate device you can download HQ for free on the App Store. Games take place at 9 PM EDT.

Have any of you guys had a shot at the game yet? Let us know in the comments below.
