Fall in a mall

Endless high score chaser Zombiefall took third place at PGC Helsinki's VBIP
|

As the name suggests, Zombiefall is about a falling zombie. You drop a member of the recently undeceased into a shopping mall and guide it as it flops and rolls down the stories.

Along the way, you'll bite and infect hapless shoppers, turning them into zombies too. This increases your score multiplier, and makes things even more frantic as you strive to keep all of your zombies alive.

You only need one zombie to keep your run going, and you lose zombies by letting them hit the top or bottom of the screen. The occasional obstacle or trap will usually take care of the rest.

To control your zombie, you simply swipe in the direction you want them to move. An aggressive swipe will fling them across the screen, while a soft one will gently roll them.

What's the point?

The goal (if there is one) is twofold. You want to keep your zombies alive for as long as possible to get a high score you can gloat about to your friends.

Your other goal is to collect coins that you can spend on buying entirely new zombies. These are either dressed in silly costumes or are based on famous historical figures. We won't spoil anything for you.

Zombiefall is so great that it took home third place at the Very Big Indie Pitch during Pocket Gamer Connects Helsinki this year.
A massive congratulations to it! We'll keep you posted as it edges closer to release.
