Apple's newest iPhone name might be the 'iPhone X'

Only have to wait 'til tomorrow

Apple's newest iPhone name might be the 'iPhone X'

I'm sure Apple-fans are absolutely champing at the bit for tomorrow's conference, but as is pretty standard there may have already been a leak ahead of time.

Tomorrow, Apple's set to reveal not one but three phones, its next Apple Watch, and likely more tech-y bits. Ten years after the first iPhone came into the world, rumours say that we'll be introduced to the iPhone 8/8 Plus and the all-new iPhone X.

Yes, it sounds a little bit like something from a spy film and will probably cost as much given that these newest phones are rumoured at $1,000. The iPhone X leak was originally revealed by Steve Troughton-Smith after discovering the name in iOS 11's firmware. This seems pretty solid evidence, but as always with these sorts of articles don't take our word as gospel, and remember that pinch of salt.

Apple's Keynote will take place tomorrow, September 12th, at 10 AM PDT/6 PM BST, and will be the first event at the Steve Jobs Theatre. You can watch it right here when the time comes.

Alternately, keep an eye on Pocket Gamer tomorrow as we'll be covering the reveal as per usual. You can also catch up with what we might see tomorrow in this article here.
