Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes may be getting multiplayer for the Switch

After the announcement of the next No More Heroes title during last week's Nindies Summer Showcase there's been a lot of excitement about how the series continue. However, an interview conducted by IGN this past weekend at PAX West hints that we may be getting a series first - multiplayer.

Director of the upcoming Switch game, Suda51, chatted to IGN about the fact No More Heroes will be sticking to its 'hack-and-slash roots'. He then goes on to say the whole whole game will be playable with just one Joy-Con, so there's one major question waiting to be asked and answered.

"As far as what's going to happen with the other Joy-Con, at this point technically it's still a secret. [We're] going to be releasing information at some point in the future, [but] as you can see, there are ... two main characters, so draw your own conclusions, if you want."

It'll be interesting to see what comes of the game if it does in fact have multiplayer. Knowing Suda52's previous work on the Wii, I'm hoping there's going to be something fun about the Joy-Cons in this instance, but we'll have to wait a little while yet to find out. Boo.
