Subterranean metroidvania Steamworld Dig 2 burrows onto Nintendo Switch next month

Building off the acclaimed foundations of the original Dig, Steamworld Dig 2 is making its way to Nintendo Switch on September 21st, with a new heroine and more expansive world.
As Dorothy, you'll be delving deep underground, upgrading your weapons and tools to both dig more effectively and expand your moveset. From the grapple hook to jump-boosting Sprint Hydraulics, each new gadget lets you reach previously inaccessible areas in classic metroidvania fashion; these tools also expand your combat options as you leap around and blast robotic and otherworldly enemies.
Our March hands-on described Steamworld Dig 2 as "more of the same" but showing great potential in its larger world, skillful gameplay, and new story.
You'll be able to purchase Steamworld Dig 2 on September 21st, with Steam and PS4 versions following soon after.
