Game of Dice, the immensely addictive Monopoly inspired game by Joycity, is getting a massive update this week that brings some hefty changes to single-player and multiplayer, and some brand new goodies for you to dig into as well.

Players will get to jump into a brand new map -- the Cursed Tower, that allows the use of special Runes during matches. If you’re feeling nostalgic for older seasonal maps, you’ll have a chance to relive those memories, too. Joycity has added a “Map of the Day” that lets players play a different previous seasonal map each day.

Joycity’s introducing a new space on the board, “Place Rune”, which is probably the biggest change to the game yet. Landing on a “Place Rune” block allows you to get one property at random and grants a special skill to one of your existing properties.

The update features some more technical, quality of life improvements, including an improved Hidden Cards system that allows Hidden Cards to be attached to different characters based on certain conditions. Expect to see new Lucy and Doria costumes sometime soon, as well.

If you’re new to Game of Dice, it’s a mobile board game in which folks toss the titular dice to move around the board and buy up property across cities and assorted real estate types. The aim of the game is to buy up as much property as possible, collect tolls from your competitors, and become a true tycoon.
