Board games don't have to be all about dragons and monsters. Take Bottom of the 9th, for example. It's a game of baseball and dice, and it's set to hit iOS and Android on August 17th.

It's being developed by Handelabra Games, who also put together the pretty excellent port of superhero card game Sentinels of the Multiverse.

You need to guess the outcome of some rolls, messing around with your options as either the pitcher or the batter. Batters need to score one run, pitchers need to get three outs.

There's some extra depth here too, as you can collect a team of superstars, each of whom has their own special skills.

The game will be out for iOS and Android phones next week, and it'll feature cross platform play. Steam and tablet versions are coming at some point too.
