Emotive puzzle adventure Abi won The Big Indie Pitch China at ChinaJoy 2017

We held a Big Indie Pitch at ChinaJoy this year, and had a bunch of excellent entrants. Selecting the winner was tough, but there can be only one. And in the end, Abi's brand of emotional puzzling won us over.

It's set in the distant future, when humanity wipes itself out and robots take over.

The eponymous Abi is one of these robots and the hero of the game. She's programmed for education and parenthood, and teams up with the industrial robot DD on an adventure across the barren world.

Abi is a post apocalyptic puzzle adventure featuring cute robots

We won't spoil the plot any further, as its best experienced for yourself. We can tell you that you'll set off on an adventure, solving puzzles and overcoming challenges.

Oh, and the visuals are absolutely gorgeous. It looks like an animated movie, with its adorable characters and colourful landscape.

So congratulations to developer Grant&Bert for taking away first prize at our Big Indie Pitch. It's thoroughly deserved.

You can learn more about Abi on the official site and the Facebook page.
