The colourful defence puzzler Boost Beast is headed to Nintendo Switch tomorrow

Arc System Works is bringing us something fast-paced and colourful this week as Boost Beast launches on Nintendo Switch tomorrow.

Boost Beast is a defence puzzler in which you'll take on hordes of zombies by summoning animals and clearing blocks in your way. After a virus-carrying meteorite crashes into earth and infects the entire human race, it's up to the king of dogs to rally his animal army and restore peace to the world.

A little match-three, and a little beat 'em up, matching three animal blocks of the same colour will throw your animals out onto the battlefield to take on the zees. It'd a little too easy like that though, so watch out for traps, cages, rocks, and the grim reaper who'll turn your soldiers into the undead.

With a whopping 204 stages on offer, Boost Beast hits out on the Switch tomorrow, July 20th, for $9.99.
