Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition finally launches on iPhone and iPad

After a bit of a delay the eagerly-awaited Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition is finally out on iOS.

To run through it quickly, Street Fighter IV: Champion Edition is Capcom's latest fighting game, and is essentially a revamp of SFIV but with some tweaked graphics and a higher resolution.

Using a virtual joystick and virtual pad controls, you can pull off full move sets including Special Moves, Focus Attacks, Super Combos, and more. Aside from the 25 characters on offer (including the three new ones, Poison, Ibuki, and Dudley), there will apparently be six more added in the coming months.

The game was supposed to launch last week, but as I'd said in my update article an unfortunate glitch stopped it from going live. It may be a little late, but at least we've got it now.

Grab SFIV: Champion Edition on the App Store now for £4.99/$4.99, and happy battling one and all.
