Oceans & Empires makes waves this summer with its June update

Joycity’s nautical strategy game Oceans & Empires is rising once more from the briny depths to bring players loads of new features in its June Grand Update. The patch promises plentiful gameplay improvements that will see you sailing the high seas with renewed vigor.

Intrepid explorers will find a new Boss Monster, Aestaros, to conquer in a co-operative Rally Attack. Luckily these alliance driven battles will be made all the easier with the introduction of a new global chat system, enabling players to chat with each other, even if they’re not based on the same server. New Skill presets provide added combat convenience -- players can now switch their Skill settings on the go by tapping slots while the cooldown is active.

If you’re looking to kit out your ship rather than seeking glory in battle straight out of the gate, Joycity is adding bunches of new, more subtler changes to ship customization. You’ll now be able to attach figureheads to your ships, giving your vessel a unique appearance and convenient buffs. You’ll be able to rename your ships, too, so you can tell them apart. Owning your own personal fleet has never been easier!

The developers have also added Ship Durability buffs to spice up combat, alongside new items including Voyage Speed Up 75% and Random Equipment Tickets.

You’ll find other smaller, but nonetheless important, improvements beneath the surface, too. The VIP level for the “Receive All” option on Alliance rewards has been lowered from level eight to level four. Purchase methods have been streamlined, too, and you can now retrieve inactive Alliance Buildings.

This summer is the perfect chance to test your maritime might in Oceans & Empires. Are you ready to seize the day and conquer waters uncharted?
