Kickstarted choose-your-own-adventure book The Frankenstein Wars releasing on June 1st
Party like it's the 19th century
When the makers of Heavy Metal Thunder are telling a new story, you better listen to it with your undivided attention. Indeed, Cubus Games have shown in the past that they have mastered the art of interactive storytelling and, while I can't wait for the next chapter in the Heavy Metal Thunder saga, they are releasing a new original interactive fiction called The Frankenstein Wars.
It's all about reanimated dead people, Victor Frankenstein and a war in Europe during 1827 to keep things short. It actually started as a Kickstarter project that did well enough to actually deliver. Now the game's planned for release on June 1st for iOS and Android.
The book features a changing weather that affects the gameplay and some time sensitive choices that affect the outcome of the story.
It's all rather intriguing and I can't wait for it.
