Kickstarted old school platformer Shantae: Half-Genie Hero is jumping to Nintendo Switch this summer

The Shantae series is an old series of games, dating back to the Gameboy Color in 2002 that has always been seen as some excellent 2D platformer. Its latest sequel, Shantae: Half-Genie Hero, successfully ran a Kickstarter campaign that amassed more than $700 000.
The game got rave reviews on every platforms it landed on but, for Nintendo fans, that was on the lackluster Wii-U and it might not have reached the public it wanted to.
Wayforward wants to fix that by Bringing it to the Nintendo Switch this summer with HD Rumble support in tow. While no date have been mentioned yet, we'll let you know as soon as they announce it.
