The 2D battler Skullgirls releases on iOS and Android on May 25th

Good news, readers! There're only another couple of weeks to go before Skullgirls' mobile release, can you believe it?

Well, it's not a full release. According to this morning's press release, we'll be getting the game in North/South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines. There's no telling so far as to when the full, worldwide release will be.

Skullgirls is a 2D versus-fighter which combines RPG elements (including progression), customisation, deck-building mechanics, and more. It also has a Fight Assist mode which lets you take more of a tactical approach to the combat as opposed to 'smashy-smashy lemme gouge yer eyes out, my son'-sorts of methods.

Skullgirls will be launching on May 25th in the aforementioned countries free-to-play. We'll keep you updated when the game drops.
