Unique puzzler-interactive fiction hybrid Able Black goes free for the first time
How many electric sheep?
Androids, mysterious facilities, and questions of consciousness all abound in Able Black, an expansive sci-fi puzzle/text adventure currently available for free on the App Store.
Able Black follows its titular android as it struggles with the Citizenship Exam deep within the mysterious Ark 19. As you progress through the narrative, you must solve the puzzles within the Exam, challenges that range from ciphers to iconographic puzzles.
Since release, Able Black received two extensive updates, which doubled the size of the game with new puzzles and introduced new mechanics, a hint system, and more.
