Gangstar: New Orleans is an open world, GTA-like game set in New Orleans. Through biker gangs, heists, crooked cops, and voodoo priests, your only goal is to claim to Big Easy as top dog, by any means necessary.
Originally teased last year alongside a couple of other titles, the news received a mixed reception from gamers. Not long afterwards it soft-launched in the Philippines, followed by Canada, and so far things have been surprisingly positive.
Despite an initial wave of negative opinions, the overall rating on the App Store is pretty good, sitting at around four-and-a-half stars for each page, or three-and-a-half overall. Comments range from praising the game to damning its expensive IAPs, but that's to be expected.
Gangstar: New Orleans will be coming to iOS and Android next Thursday, March 30th, free-to-play.
