Overcooked: Special Edition implements the Switch's HD Rumble in a pretty cool way
Cook food, test friendships
As I said in my Nindies Showcase piece earlier today, there are so many great titles headed our way, and I've got to say that I'm stoked for Overcooked: Special Edition.
Overcooked is a co-operative couch multiplayer about running a kitchen and fulfilling orders. Of course, that sounds simple enough until you're trying to balance various different orders whilst simultaneously being pushed around the level and yelling at your friends.
One thing that has always been frustrating about the game is that it sticks to its guns, allowing only local multiplayer. Bring that to a portable system, however, and suddenly things are much more accessible.
Cooler still, the Switch version implements HD Rumble meaning that you'll feel soup sloshing about in the pot as you move it and feel every chop as you cut through your vegetables.
There's no definite release date for it yet, but we should see it later this year.
