Stardew Valley is headed to the Nintendo Switch with multiplayer
Those who farm together, stay together
After Ninty's Indie Showcase yesterday it's hard not to get excited about some of the titles on the way. What's more, Stardew Valley has been confirmed AND will be getting multiplayer.
For those who don't know it, Stardew Valley is an ultra-charming farming RPG in which you pick and name a character, take over your grandpa's old farm, and settle into the valley. You can plant, harvest, fish, mine, and fight creepy cave dwellers to gather your precious resources.Stardew Valley is coming to #NintendoSwitch, and will be the first console to support the new multiplayer feature. Between farming and gathering, you've also got a whole town of people to talk to and relationships to build. Should you fancy settling down, there're a few bachelors and bachelorettes waiting to be wooed, but that takes time.
As the first platform to have multiplayer in the game, Nintendo's just revealed a pretty big ace, because Stardew Valley's charms are almost impossible to resist. Though there's no specific date set for it yet, it'll apparently be dropping sometime this summer.
