Updated 13th February, 2:50 PM: It isn't exactly breaking news but this is an interesting extra. According to GameSpot's recent article, the Nintendo Switch can actually connect 10 devices together, as opposed to the original eight.

It doesn't make much of a difference in terms of Splatoon 2 as only eight people can play the game at once, but two people can spectate...which is...fun? I think.

Good morning, ladies and gents. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and Splatoon 2 will shortly be getting a global testfire event in March.

After the Nintendo Switch's reveal and keynote last month, we saw that Splatoon 2 was headed back with a vengeance. Now, thanks to Kotaku's keen eye, it's evident that the game won't be a release title, but probably won't be too far from summer 2017.

Between March 24th and March 26th we've got a whopping six hour-long sessions to look forward to, with four featured weapons, including the newest Splat Dualies.

So, if you're a proud Switch owner, or will be one by the 24th, check out the list below. Clearly Nintendo has tried to appeal to a worldwide audience as the times are a little all over the place, but there's bound to be something for everyone.
