If you've got a hankering for top-down shooters then get ready to wet your whistle on Star Tank, coming soon to iOS and Android.
This action packed shooter gives us all of the satisfaction of blowing a bunch of stuff up with a twist. Each planet we land on exposes us to a new enemy with different abilities, giving it that extra challenge.
The aim of the game is to gather enough fuel for your rocket on each planet until you can finally get back to earth. You can also pick up power crystals to help enhance your weapons and blitz through growing swarms of enemies. It's easy to get overwhelmed.
Though the developer is close to releasing the game, they've called out for beta testers on their forum page. Apparently Star Tank will be releasing 'soon'.
