Play classic Game Boy titles with the upcoming Super Retro Boy
Similar but not identical
Let's get nostalgic as Retro-bit remakes the old-school Game Boy and recreates that classic experience with Super Retro Boy.

In the past year there's been a bunch of re-vamps and recreations in classic gaming, from the NES Classic Mini to a teeny version of the Megadrive, but this takes the cake. With a rechargeable battery and ten hours of battery life, a lot of classic gamers are going to be very happy.
With a very similar design to the classic Game Boy, the Super Retro Boy isn't all over identical (for obvious legal reasons). With support for Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance cartridges, its layout is near perfect to the tradition device. That is, bar the fact Retro-bit has converted the L and R bumpers into face buttons alongside A and B on the front. I don't know how to feel about that.
Coming to America this August, the Super Retro Boy is slated to cost about $79.99. Whether this'll be a country-exclusive or if the rest of the world will get it eventually we'll have to wait and see. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
