The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild could be the Nintendo Switch launch title

Take this newsbit with a pinch of salt, ladies and gents, but it looks like we might be getting Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild when the Switch launches in March.

Yes, as with most Nintendo Switch news it's so far unconfirmed by the company itself. But leading critic and video game journalist Laura Dale tweeted out that Breath of the Wild is definitely coming to America alongside the Switch's launch.

However the question now lies in Europe's status. Where some people say that BOTW should come out at the same time, others are stating that there could be delays of up to three months until its release.

Interestingly, however, photos were taken of a poster at GAME advertising the release of BOTW as 'Out March 2017', meaning that unless something has gone horrendously wrong with their advertising the UK is set to receive the game at launch.

We'll know for certain what's truly happening come January 12th when the Switch conference takes place.
