Forget the sleigh bells and start slaying some evil hordes in MU Origins latest update

It’s that time of year again; full of Yule tide cheer and holiday spirit and we’re pretty sure that some of you are getting sick of it. Not with the food, the presents or the mistletoe, but the deluge of gimmicky festive updates.

Sure it’s always nice to have a little sprinkle of Christmas cheer in your favourite games, but adding a few white sprites of snow and a Santa hat to your character feels more than a little underwhelming.

Luckily for those of you who prefer the satisfying clatter of steel over the sound of sleigh bells, you’re in for a bit of a treat with the latest update to MU Origin. Webzen, the publishers behind the fantasy RPG have brought a lot more than bells and baubles to the table.

This latest update titled “Companion and Wings” brings genuinely exciting new additions to the game, including the companion system which allows players to band together, grow, gain strength and gather buff with special activities such as Companion Dungeon.

There’s also the new Roch and Griffin souls which enable players with Tier 6 wings or above to unlock their Wings’ special potential, letting them soar to greater heights of ability.

Not only that but you can also take part in a special event that starts today and ends on the 31st December where all you have to do is login and play during the update. Just for doing that you’ll earn yourself a host of items, including Rainbow Feather, Condor’s Flame, and Gold Spark.
