Grim dark grimly dark adventure Eisenhorn: Xenos is on sale for the first time since it launched back in August. So that’s pretty good news, right?

The game is based on a trilogy of Warhammer 40K books, and focuses on the titular Eisenhorn. He’s an Inquisitor, a bit of a bad-ass, and has a big gothic spaceship what you can fly around in.

There’s a good swoosh of Batman: Arkham Asylum here, from the combat to the detecting to the po-faced sincerity of it all. And it works pretty darn well.

At review we gave the game a Gold Award, calling it "a gorgeous, wonderfully well polished and surprisingly playable mobile action adventure that's well worth a look."

And now you can get it for £4.49 / $5.99 [buy]. You should do that, if you want to. I don’t mind either way.
NB. James Gilmour hated this game, but he is wrong. So ignore him.
