Silver Award-winning action strategy Steamworld Heist is out now on iPhone and iPad

We really like Steamworld Heist here at Pocket Gamer. We gave it a shiny Silver Award when it originally came out on 3DS. And now you can grab it on iOS for the first time.
The game is a clever side-on strategy shooter. You need to rob spaceships, kill marshalls, and generally have a lovely old robotic time while you’re doing it.
You also get bonuses for shooting hats, which is something I can get behind.
There are bouncing bullets, loads of different levels to complete, and a big chunk of game that you’re going to be able to lose plenty of time to.
At review we called the 3DS version "an unexpected and super-satisfying strategy smash" adding that "if you've enjoyed games like Codename STEAM or Fire Emblem, then consider this little gem an essential purchase."
