We may have to wait a little longer for ROME: Total War as it drops back to 'Soon' on Feral Interactive's website
But how much longer?
Take this newsbit with a pinch of salt, ladies and gents, but it looks like we may have to wait a little while yet for ROME: Total War.
ROME: Total War is a much-anticipated strategy game in which you've got to lead your army of Roman soldiers through endless victories, expanding your empire. Traditionally a major PC title, the game was announced for iPad a few months ago. Ever since we've been gnashing at the bit to get an inkling as to its release, but all we've got to work with is 'autumn'.
There's been nothing officially stated by Feral Interactive but on their website it looks like it may not be coming out as soon as we thought. By the use of the Upcoming Games chart, ROME: Total War had previously sat in the orange section – one notch away from 'Out Now'. It's since dropped back into yellow, falling into 'Soon' rather than 'Very Soon'.
They could be doing a bit of a Jedi mind trick, pushing it back so we'll be really surprised when it releases sooner, but I'd still bet my left shoe on a somewhat near-Christmas release. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
