This title is possibly one of my favourites in the past couple of months, but there're a few other reasons we're looking forward to Swing King and the Temple of Bling.
This adorable little puzzler is gloriously simple. Made by a three-man team, Swing King has a very simple objective – complete the level by swinging your monkey butt around the available loops to reach the goal.
It's got an almost retro look to it and its overall design is utterly charming: from the monkey's varied expressions to the little trail of dust/smoke flicking out behind him as he swings and bounces around the course. As the developers progress with the game it's also interesting to see that it's getting more and more detailed in terms of its mechanics, ranging from moving platforms, mechanised spikes, clamping doors, and sticky spider webs.
As one-touch games go, this one's an utter beauty and is definitely something worth keeping an eye on.Swing King and the Temple of Bling should be coming to iOS sometime in early 2017, but we'll keep you updated.
