Does Super Mario Run really mean the death of Nintendo?
Game over
After years of resisting the pull of mobile, Nintendo has finally succumbed to the lucrative call of the smartphone.
Super Mario Run, the first Mario game to appear on a non-Nintendo device, will be hitting iOS this December.
But it wasn't so long ago that the ex-head of Nintendo was claiming that releasing games on mobile would mean that "Nintendo would cease to be Nintendo."
Is this really true? Come December, will Nintendo as we know it really be dead?
