After a rather lengthy soft-launch, Badland 2 came out guns a'blazing on Google Play earlier, offering the game up free-to-play.

With a style reminiscent of Limbo but with more of a contrasting colour scheme to it, with a little Lemmings chaos thrown in there when bodies need to be thrown under the bus, it's hardly a wonder why this game is so popular.

Badland 2 follows the same path as its predecessor, offering up more levels, more puzzles, more obstacles, and more challenges as we make our way through this vibrant wonderland of death. We even gave it Pocket Gamer's prestigious Gold Award when it came out on iOS last December.

So Android users, what are you waiting for? Not only has the game dropped worldwide for us at last, but you don't have to pay a penny for it. There will be a few adverts throughout the game because of this, or if you can't stand them you've got the option of paying a £2.99/$3.99 IAP that gets rid of them.

Get it here on Google Play, or if you haven't already get it here on the App Store for £2.99/$3.99.
