CSR Racing 2 is an incredibly complex game that requires your full attention if you plan on winning a race.
You've got a lot to learn, from accelerating at the perfect moment to get a nice speed boost to changing gear optimally.
You'll get the hang of it with some practice but we're here to help you get there a little faster with this handy guide.
Overachieve – no, really, do
That first few seconds of a race are the most crucial, and if you plan on getting ahead of your opponents you've got to accelerate while the speedometer is in the ultimate position every time. That way you'll avoid a wheel spin and disaster.
When the clock starts counting down you'll want to over accelerate so the dial is in the orange segment as the timer hits '2'. That way, when the dial falls back it'll hit green just as the race starts.
Don’t blow your booster
It may be tempting but if you've made a good start to the race you should resist using your booster until you really need it.
When your opponent starts to gain on you, and you've chan, then you can hit that button and hang on to your butts.
Foundations before beauty
It's tempting to drop all your cash on cosmetic upgrades to really jazz up your vehicle but resist. It's best to focus on performance at the beginning to give yourself the best shot at winning races.
Once you'e got past the free Nitrus upgrade, focus on your tires. Make them sturdy and decrease the possibility of them slipping and you'll have a much better time on the road. It’s okay to be cheap
In CSR Racing 2 you're given so much stuff to look through in the beginning that it's easy to forget your rewards and be stingy about free stuff.
Take advantage of everything, and always check the left-hand menu to collect your rewards. It might just give you enough money to get that upgrade you always wanted.
Go with the flow
The most important lesson you've got to learn in CSR Racing 2, is when to change gear. Do this properly and you'll always be racing at optimal speed.
To achieve that, you've got to keep your eye on the speedometer at all times, and memorise the best time to switch. You'll know it's the right time when changing gears doesn't impact your speed.
